Election Worker Information

The County Clerk’s Office is seeking reliable individuals to work at County polling locations for the Primary and General Elections. Interested individuals must be:

  • A registered voter in Butler County
  • Available to attend a training session prior to each election (training dates TBD)
  • Provide own transportation to polling location
  • Election workers are paid $15.00 per hour (§32-227)
  • Additional opportunities are available for those wanting leadership responsibilities
  • If you have addition questions regarding being an Election Worker, please call or email.

Please contact the County Clerk’s Office at 402.367.7430 or clerk@butlercountyne.gov if you are interested and able to serve as an election worker. We cannot guarantee placement, as placement of election workers must be compliant with Nebraska State Statutes §32-230 & §32-231.
