Job brief
We are looking for a responsible Assistant Directorto undertake a variety of managerial tasks in collaboration with or in the absence of the Director. You will assist the Director in the incorporation strategy and ensure that the Butler County Senior Services meet their goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong business mindset and leadership capabilities. They must have excellent organizational skills and aptitude in problem-solving. Since you will be acting as a point of contact between employees and the manager, solid interpersonal and mediation skills will be very useful.
The goal is to secure the effective operations of our business and the satisfaction of our clients to achieve accelerated and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy
- Coordinate operations
- Ensure schedules and objectives are met
- Monitor operating cost, budgets, and resources
- Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs and specifications
- Create reports, analyze, and interpret data
- Schedule and dispatch drivers
- Program and event planning
- Crosstrain for other positions within the company
- Secure adherence to the company’s policies and guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in management or a similar position
- Familiar with financial and customer service principles and practices
- Experience and knowledge in Word, Excel, and QuickBooks
- Outstanding leadership and organizational abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass drug screening and will be put in random testing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times for employees & clients
- Be able to work independently without supervision
- Must pass Background and Criminal History Check
